Version 0.7.0 out of memory errors

Aug 7, 2016 at 3:38 PM
Upgraded to latest version, but the app won't stay running for more than a day.

Running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. 12GB of RAM. Runs as a Plex server. The Console stays logged in. Corresponding errors in the Application Windows event logs say:

Yes, I installed to the same directory as 0.6.2. Was that a mistake?

Hi,

I'm sorry for the late reply, but I was out for a trip!
Thank you for reporting this bug, I don't think that the folder is the real issue... I've changed large portions of code, so I have to investigate what portion of code generate this error, running the application in debug mode for at least 24 hours!

Thanks,
Sam

Thanks for the reply, everyone needs time away :) Been curious if you found anything in your debug. I've now installed this on my other server, Windows 10 Pro. I'll let it sit overnight and see if anything happens.

It seems that in this case we have a little memory leak issue; I've discovered it by accelerating the update of tray icons, indeed instead of 24 hours, it needed more or less 2 hours to pop out...
Now I'm working to fixing it, I hope to provide you a working version in short times! ;)

Great, thank you. Love this app. It's the only one I found that would work with my LSI controller and the drives attached to it. Thanks for all your hard work :)

PS. I let it run on my Windows 10 Pro Plex server overnight and no crash. So it appears to be limited to Windows 7. I'm not sure if that indicates anything or not.

I've uploaded here the last build, where I've fixed the memory leak: try it and tell me if it works correctly! ;)

So far, so good. I've ran it for about 20 hours already. If it has any issues, I'll be sure to post. Thanks again :)
