dears
I have hhd guardian 2013 and the test is:
Healt status 2 stars
Life remaining n/no sector demage
1380 ata error!

I'm not familiar with this program and results.
It's seems that it is not a good situation so I'm wondering if it is the time to replace the hard disk. I have also a nas and an external back up.

Could uou help me to understand

Hi Luca,

Which version of HDD Guardian you're running (2013 is not a correct version number)?
If you're running a version released prior to 0.6.2, ATA errors are counted into the reliability calculation and the evaluation can be wrong; the "remaining life" value is relative to SSD devices (I think that your drive is an HDD, right?).
If you can, please post the output of your device (Manage -> Device output), this can be helpful to understand your situation!

Che versione stai utilizzando di HDD Guardian (2013 non è corretto come numero di versione)?
Se stai utilizzando un versione precedente alla 0.6.2, gli errori ATA vengono conteggiati nel calcolo dell'affidabilità e tale calcolo potrebbe risultare non corretto; il valore della "vita residua" è relativo alle SSD (penso che il tuo disco sia invece un HDD, giusto?).
Se puoi, ti prego di postare l'output della tua unità (Gestione -> Output unità), dato che potrebbe essere utile per meglio comprendere la tua situazione!

Sorry, I made a confusion. I'm using the latest version 0.6.2.
I confirm it is an HDD (no SSD).I will post the oiutput this night.

I've loaded your output into HDD Guardian: from what I see your disk has 8 sectors that is awaiting to be remapped (and in the end becomes bad sectors the most times) and 8 sectors not correctable. This can be a symptom of a degradation of the disk health, but I think that for now you can use it, keeping an eye on his performance and keeping also a backup of stored data.
The last five ATA errors, instead, are all relatives to an uncorrectable error on the data that appear always on the same sector. Also this can be a symptom of health degradation.
Just as example, I've used an old IBM until his death, and his last output reported 19 bad sectors, 27 reallocation events, 14 pending sectors, 13 sectors not correctable and 234 ATA errors (and the last five was all uncorrectable errors on two different sectors).
