no Temp for OCZ-Vertex4

i can see remaining life, but no temp

what can i do?

Hi,

Can you provide me the output of device from Manage -> Device output panel?
Maybe your device don't have a thermal sensor (like my OCZ Vertex 3, that provides a fixed temperature of 30°C) and temperature is not reported on SMART attributes table... ;)

As I've suspected SMART table don't report the temperature of your device, so it's highly probable that Vertex 4 is not equipped with a thermal sensor.
Normally, the parameter on the SMART table that provide the temperature is the one with ID 194, as examples, these are the SMART table of my Vertex 3

As you can see each device have the ID 194 (on your table is totally absent), but the one on my Vertex 3 is always fixed at 30°C (so also mine is not equipped with a thermal sensor); it seems, on top of all, that most of the SSDs are provided without a temperature sensor, so I think that this parameter is not critical for this type of device.
I'm sorry, but I can't do nothing about this "issue"...

and on the samsung SSD 830 series we do get a temp on another PC here
